Our baby is so beautiful! I still can't believe she is a year old already! She's up to a whooping 24 pounds!

Well we had our first trip to the ER with Ava yesterday. Don't worry she's fine now but it was a horrible morning. My little Ava likes to fight me when I put her in her car seat. So she decided she was going to lock her arm to try to keep me from putting her in the seat. Well when she did that and I sat her down into the seat, her elbow popped out of socket. OUCH. They popped it back it and all it well again. But of course, I felt horrible about the whole thing and my wonderful husband made sure to give me lots of grief about it as well. But all that matters is that little Ava is fine now! Let's hope this never happens again.

I had my 9 month check up on Monday and I now weigh 20 pounds 12 ounces. I am 28 inches long! Dr. Timmons said I am doing GREAT! I thought I was going to get out of the office without getting any shots but mommy made me get a flu shot.....and boy did it hurt.

I had to go to the doctor today too, I got a flu shot also....OUCH. But I didn't cry! Guess what, I am only a foot shorter than my mommy! Won't be long and I will be taller than her!!
