I recently lost a very dear friend. Her name is Missy Akers and she was 31 years old. She went to bed last Thursday night and never woke up. It was determined that she had a heart attack. I've lost grandparents and great grandparents but I've never lost someone so young. She has a 4 year old son that is best buddies with Ava. I'm really at a loss as to why this happened. I know everyone keeps saying that it is gods work but why? She was so young and her son needs her. Please keep the Akers family in your prayers. Missy you will be missed. Rest in Peace. We love you.

I finally learned how to french braid!!

ok here are a few updates for you...Ava won both of her soccer games on Saturday. It was so cute watching the kids play. She also learned how to ride her bike without the training wheels. I'm so proud of her!

Ava's very first soccer practice was last night. It was a great time...she did very well and Coach Mark(our neighbor)and Coach Evan did an awesome job with the kids!

My baby really is growing up. She starts 4th grade today, and I really can't believe it. She's growing into a beautiful young lady and I am very proud of her. She's a great kid...other then the attitude! Love you sis.

Last Thursday we went to the zoo for the afternoon with Aunt Deb, Kelli, Madison, Mackenzie and Mom. We had a great time spending the afternoon with you all.
