Danny came to visit last week. He taught shayna a few new card games and hand games. Ava drove him insane the whole time which is totally normal of ava. But we had a great visit and i really miss both him and jim. It was really great to get to spend some time with these guys! I love you both and i hope we get to see you again soon.

My 19 year old brother came to visit last week. It was really great to see him and send some time with him. Shayna and Jim had a blast together, he's a great person and we miss him already

well shayna didn't make the Allstar team and this is what we think about it!!! She did so well at tryouts, i'm really shocked that she didn't make it.

I never would have guessed that when I married this man 7 years ago that my life would turn out the way it has. What makes a person choose beer over his family? Was it me? Was it something that I did wrong, what is so great about beer that you are willing to throw you whole family away just to keep drinking? It's been 5 months since the girls and I left, he hasn't even tried to stop drinking. It breaks my heart that this is happening. When I left I really thought it would be the wake up call that he needed but I guess I was once again wrong. I really thought when I married Evan that he was the man that would be a great husband and father. He was so different then, or maybe I was just blinded by love. Now it's come down to I've scheduled the meeting with the attorney so I guess there is no going back. Maybe I just don't try hard enough to make things work. Am I wrong in wanting my husband to be a contributing part of the family, am I wrong because I want him to show up for both girls activities not just Ava's? Am I asking too much? All I wanted was to be a family. I know that some people can rise above their addictions and do so much better so why can't he? Why is he ok with being like this? Why doesn't he want to be the father that Ava needs? I'm so angry and hurt, will that ever change? I've never truly felt this much pain before, he continues to hurt me more and more each day. So many questions and no answers......

Shayna's regular season for softball ended last night, they lost but they should have won, the game was called because of the storm. Shayna did a great job this year, she's becoming a better player every year. She tried out for the Allstar team so keep your fingers crossed that she makes the team!!!

Ava's tball season is over:( she did an awesome job this year i'm so proud of her. she loves to play so i'm guessing she will follow in sissy's footsteps and be a softball player. she got to play in the allstar game on Saturday and she did excellent!

Ava and I were invited down to Lake Monroe for Memorial Day weekend by our friends Mark and Kristen. We had a great time, the boats were awesome and it was great having a really nice camper to sleep in! Makes me want a boat and a camper...too bad that's never gonna happen. Ava was fearless, she went tubing and enjoyed every second of it!

Shayna got a lot of awards this year including...citizenship, all A's in spelling all year, A/B honor roll and the Presidential award for Educational Excellence! I'm so proud of her, it's been a tough year and through it all she has continued to succeed! You're the best Shayna keep it up! You made your momma very proud today! I love you!

Ava's tball team is so much fun this year..the kids are an awesome group! Shayna is loving helping with the team and i'm loving having her help!

the season has started...ava's playing 3rd base. the game last night was so funny...no one knew which way to run and they didn't even know to tag the base! Ava had a blast!

Yesterday was a very busy day for us girls. We had Christina's graduation party, amber, tom and nancy's birthday party celebration and then on to help my good friend Heather. So needless to say we didn't get home until after 9 last night and we are all exhausted but congratulations Tina on your Maters Degree way to go!! and Happy Birthday to Kelli!!!

Little Ava was doing what mommy told her not do. Kaylen across the street has this little car that Ava is way to big for and mommy told her do not get in that car you are too big but of course she did it anyway and this is what happened when she tried to get out of the car...it tipped over and ava landed face first on the concrete. She looks so beat up...maybe next time she'll listen but i'm not counting on it.

Shayna is pitching this year in softball and i'm so proud of her, she didn't want to do it at first but i'm so glad that she decided to give it a shot. She's GOOD!!! Ava is playing t-ball and she's a natural! It's so cute watching the little kids...it brings back memories of Shayna being a t-baller. I hope Ava enjoys softball as much as Shayna has.

Easter was great this year, mom and donald made a really yummy lunch, the girls colored eggs and had a great time just hanging out in sunshine!!!
